Bodyswaps and Meta Immersive Learning team up to launch grant

A British start-up will bring virtual reality learning to students at 100 higher education institutions in collaboration with Meta Immersive Learning.

LONDON, November 16, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Bodyswaps today announced an exciting partnership with Meta Immersive Learning to provide 100 higher and further education institutions with access to virtual reality hardware and software across the UK, North America, France and Belgium.

The London The based startup is working with Meta to make soft skills learning experiences more accessible to everyone.

Bodyswaps will provide each institution with unlimited, free access to its comprehensive soft skills learning library. Meta will support with hardware donations from Meta Quest 2 VR headsets.

Institutions will be able to select a variety of courses, including modules on public speaking, job interviews or anti-racism training, to enable their students to develop soft skills that may have been hindered in due to the pandemic.

The grant will double as a research project, leveraging data collected from students and staff, to demonstrate the potential impact of metaverse technologies in education.
