Creative UK has welcomed Dimension Studio into its investment portfolio through the nonprofit’s Growth Funding Fund.
Originally launched as VR studio Hammerhead in 2014, the studio was renamed Dimension in 2020 – making it easier to create virtual worlds, digital humans and volumetric content for the entertainment landscape.
Since then, the studio has produced new forms of storytelling in the industry that spans movies, games, sports, music videos, fashion, and Metaverse worlds.
Most recently, Dimension spearheaded virtual production services for Disney’s live-action remake of the 1940 animated classic. Pinochio- which will star Tom Hanks, Robert Downey Jr. and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth.
He also served on the Balenciaga – Afterworld: the era of tomorrow Coldplay x BTS ‘My Universe’ video game and holograms.
Speaking about the partnership, Mehjabeen Patrick, Chief Investment Officer of Creative UK, said: “We are delighted to make a second investment in Dimension Studio through our Creative Growth Finance fund.
