Danbatta congratulates Adedigba for his NIM scholarship


A Director of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Ismaila Adedigba, has received praise from the Executive Vice-Chairman of the Commission, Professor Umar Garba Danbatta, for his recent award of the Nigerian Institute of Management, NIM Fellowship .

Adedigba, Director of Research Development at the Commission, is a long-time member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and a member of the West African Society Association for Communications and Administration ( FSCA).

Professor Danbatta said Adedigba’s elevation is well deserved and hailed his commitment and dedication to the ideals of his profession as well as remarkable career progression exemplified by his pioneering contributions to the growth of the Commission.

“There is no doubt that this is a well-deserved elevation in the prestigious Institute Fellowship, which was evidently based on your unbroken record of dedication to public service. Therefore, all of us at the Commission congratulate with you achieving this prestigious status at NIM,” he said.

The awarding of Adedigba, among other fellows, took place during the final Fellows and Spouses Awards Luncheon which took place at the Muson Centre, Onika, Lagos, and presented the Decoration of Distinguished Members of the institute who have contributed to the development of the Institute, leadership of the profession and civil society at large.

With adequate and relevant previous experience in audit, finance, consultancy and banking inspection, Adedigba joined the Commission services on 3 April 1995 as Head of Internal Audit and rose through the ranks in finance departments; zonal administration; Licenses; Business development; Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF); Corporate Planning, Strategy and Risk Management Department; consumer affairs office; and the Department of Policy, Competition and Economic Analysis for more than two decades before his recent promotion to Director of R&D.

Adedigba holds an MSc. in Business Administration and BSc. in Accounting, and he is also an Associate Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTIN). Adedigba, as a member of the NIM, will henceforth be expected to be actively involved in all programs of the Institute through the Faculty of Fellows (FoF), where his core competency and specialist areas of his profession would be brought to bear. profit and used. .
